We have worked with two different agents to buy homes in DC and Silver Spring and strongly recommend Maureen, who recently (2023) represented us as both a buyers and sellers agent. Not only does she have a wonderful, affirming, low-pressure approach to the entire process, but she has a generous spirit that leads her to constantly volunteer to go above and beyond. She's also very conscientious about the role that real estate agents play in building communities, cautioning against practices that can encourage bias during the housing search process. And she also teaches music! We cannot recommend Maureen highly enough!

My wife and I worked with Maureen to buy our house, and it was wonderful! She was extremely knowledgeable and thorough, including great partners/recommendations for everything including lending, inspection, pest remediation, title company to work with, etc. She provided great advice but also listened to what we wanted and valued in a new house. When my best friend Dermot, someone I have known for almost 30 years, was looking to buy his first home in Montgomery County, I immediately knew who I was going to refer him and his wife to. Heather Sand and I have worked together in the past, and I have always been impressed with her professionalism, tireless work ethic, and market knowledge. This was at the height of market craziness, with buyers facing long odds on every listing. As a mortgage professional myself with over 10 years in the business, I have had a variety of experiences with agents, and knew that with Heather my friends were getting the very best representation.

Heather had recently teamed up with Maureen Andary, and I was blown away by their collaboration. They complement each other and really knocked it out of the park in getting my friends into the right home, at the right price, at the right time. My friends had a specific neighborhood they were trying to get into, at a certain price, and despite limited inventory and the pressure of rising interest rates, they managed to get them into the perfect home. There was always clear communication from Heather and Maureen to me as their lender and my clients commented on how smooth the process was as first time homebuyers.

After working with Heather and Maureen as a team, I would not refer pre-approved clients anywhere else.

I used Maureen to both sell and buy property in 2022. She is the BEST. She did a wonderful job getting my condo ready for market and staging it to accentuate its best features. She also did a great job of getting me in the right headspace when it came time to purchase a detached single family home and was a constant source of insight and wisdom. She creates strong bonds with clients and works hard to sustain those relationships.

I truly could not have asked for a better selling experience than the one I had with Maureen. As a first-time home-seller who put their house on the market right as it was cooling, I was fairly anxious about the entire situation. Due to her clear (and impressive) expertise and her commitment to communication, all of my concerns were alleviated. But Maureen and her expert team did a fantastic job of working with us to assess what was needed to sell, and to target the marketing. She had a great eye for how to highlight the house’s attributes, and to stage it beautifully! I was a first time home seller on Capitol Hill and Maureen walked me through every stage of the process - from strategizing about timing and pricing, to staging, to interpreting and choosing between multiple offers. The staging was beautifully done and trendy while also offering broad appeal. In fact I wanted to keep some of the artwork and rugs! She always answered emails and texts within MINUTES and even helped to deliver my mail and clear some old furniture out of the condo. Most importantly, as someone with a busy job, Maureen let me stop thinking about my home sale and just handled stuff and let me relax. I’d be happy to refer her to any friend buying or selling a home.
