Maurion Watkins

Maurion is a commercial real estate professional with 16 years of experience in consulting, banking, and financial services with three Fortune 500 banks – Wells Fargo, HSBC, and JPMorgan Chase. During his eight years with Wells Fargo, he was ranked within the top one percent of loss mitigation professionals nationally and mitigated $300 million of potential losses in non-performing residential and commercial mortgage debt between 2009 and 2014. Since leaving Wells Fargo in 2014, Maurion has worked with several clients that include Pavilion Development Company, Branch Properties, Lennar Multifamily Communities, and Atlas Music Publishing. Maurion holds a Salesperson real estate license with the state of Georgia, certification in ARGUS Valuation DCF Software, and is a Candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation with the CCIM Institute. He has provided commercial real estate investment advisory and consulting services to attorneys, real estate brokers, land developers, ultra-high net worth individuals, and non-profit organizations on various commercial real estate issues including market analysis, portfolio management, zoning, highest and best use determination, as well as property acquisition/disposition strategy.



Maurion is active with Hands On Atlanta and has served as the Volunteer Project Coordinator to HomeStretch, an agency partner, since 2007. He is a HomeStretch Walk of Fame Volunteer honoree and currently serves on the nonprofit organization’s Real Estate Committee. In 2012, he was nominated for Volunteer of the Year by Hands On Atlanta. Maurion is also a sustaining donor to Open Hand Atlanta and a longstanding perennial member of the High Museum of Art.
