McKinley helped us in our search for a home in Jupiter, Florida. She is from Jupiter and I knew that background knowledge would be helpful in finding us exactly what we were looking for. She knows what each neighborhood is like, what kind of people/families live there, what the neighborhood communities are like, what schools are like, what activities there are. She is a mother of two young children so I knew I could relate to her and when she said she had the best interest of our family at heart she actually meant it. Mckinley was warm, friendly, happy, easy to talk to, it felt like I had known her for years. She was professional and quick to respond any time we needed her. She really became an actual friend throughout the course of this process. She met us around all neighborhoods and discussed realistically pros and cons of not only the neighborhoods but aspects of certain houses. We realized it wasn't about making a sale for her, it was about helping us find our home. We actually ended up backing out of our first contact after a thorough inspection showed a poor mold reading (among a list of other issues). She completely agreed with us on our choices to walk away. We were in a tight window as were had already moved out of our previous home, and McKinley was creative with helping to find listings. She contacted agents to see what they had that was coming on the market and helped us go see these homes. She would not let us offer more on a home than it was worth. Finally we found our new home, she was able to get us in right away to see it and our offer was accepted 6,000 under listing price. We had a difficult and unusual situation as our closing date was pushed back from a legal matter on the sellers part. McKinley went out of her way to negotiate and make sure the seller paid for our extended storage fees and our extended mortgage rate. Then she helped my parents find their home in Jupiter as well.
