Mel has been the most wonderful Realtor/Broker. So grateful to have had Mel to help us sell our Murrells Inlet condo and purchase a home in Windjammer Village, also in Murrells Inlet. I don't know how I would have made it through this stressful time without her. She is a fabulous problem solver and negotiator and isn't afraid to "think outside the box" to get the job done. She was always ready and able to show us any listing we wanted to see and helped us with our final decision. She values communication and is always easy to reach.

I’m so extremely grateful that I was led to Melissa. This was my first experience purchasing a new home. From day one she listened and made me feel at ease as she helped navigate me through this process. She made me feel like a priority even though I knew she was busy helping with other clients as well. Melissa was wonderful to work with when I used her to sell my home! She helped me do some updating to the house I was selling so I could get the most value out of it when it sold it. She kept me informed through the whole process of the renovation. She gave her opinions on what was popular right now so that the house would appeal to a wide range of people. Mel Nordstrom is the model for real estate agents. From our first meeting, she steered us only in the direction of communities that matched our needs and preferences. She helped us transition to an out- of -state move with all the guidance and supervision needed to help us navigate unfamiliar territory. She went over and above in accompanying us to meetings, and even helped us create a punch list for repairs AFTER closing, where she taped and marked flaws along side us. Her expertise is limitless. She shared procedures for obtaining residency and provided us with many recommendations for our service inquiries, as we had no experience with this area whatsoever. Even nearly two weeks after closing, she is still checking in on us to see if she can offer any help. Energetic, empathetic, and smart our Mel is! I was very lucky to have found Melissa "Mel", and I had to completely rely on her for just about everything, since I was going to be moving site unseen from VA to SC in just over 30 days with only what what would fit in my car. These are challenging times for buyers, and somehow she pulled this off for me. Mel quickly got to know who I was and what I needed. The personal attention was fantastic and the quick action was incredible. She has a great understanding of this area and important contacts to get things done from contract to loan closing to furnishing the new home.
