and the fact that she grew up in the Opelika area drew us to her; and it was the best decision we could have made. When the time came to list the house, she did a great job of staging it for us, which added greater warm and a homey atmosphere for the buyers to see. When we first contacted her, the house needed a lot of work before we could put it on the market. Melanie had a local contractor for every issue we couldn't handle ourself. Melanie was absolutely phenomenal! I cannot say enough positive things about her and her family. This was our first home and Melanie walked through each step of the process with us with kindness and patience. She never got frustrated with our questions or made us feel bad for having a plethora of questions. After our initial meeting with Melanie she set up an online profile for us where we could see houses that were on the market and would be able to quickly message her about being able to see those homes. When Melanie was unable to get us into the house, she would have her son – Colton, also a realtor – show us the home. Colton was professional and a joy to work with as well. We contacted Melanie before we were ready to list our home and asked her for advice on what to do to get our home ready to sell. Even though our house had a solid offer after being on the market for only 9 days, the Corona virus weighed in on the buyer’s mortgage process.
