Melissa is an award winning Roanoke Real Estate Agent who is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, and has lived in Roanoke, Virginia, since 1999. She was the 2011 Chairman of the Public Relations Committee for the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors. In 2007, she served as the Chairman of the Roanoke Valley Real Estate MLS Monitoring Committee which oversees the accuracy of the data used in the Multiple Listing Software . Besides being a full-time Real Estate Specialist, she also holds the Accredited Buyer Representative designation. She is an advocate for St Francis of Assisi - an organization that trains animals to help disabled people and the SPCA. Her hobbies range from making wine to painting in her spare time. She previously worked for Dreyfus Investment Services as a manager for the Pension Plan/IRA Department, and attended Robert Morris University and holds a BA degree with honors in Accounting. Other prior positions include selling loan accounting software to banks and financial institutions as well as Managing Brokerage firms.
