For me the house buying and selling process is very stressful. I like to think I know the best decisions to make and give me two cents. Working with Melissa was awesome. She took my opinions into consideration, but she knew what the best path forward was. My only advice to future sellers is get out of her way and let her do what she does best.

Melissa and in a word was fantastic! This was our first time buying a home and she was there for us every step of the way. Finding a house in the DC area was so so difficult but she helped us through it. For a while she was with us every weekend opening doors and looking at our list of houses. Then when it came to putting in an offer and the legal paper work her and her team set us up quick allowing us to be in the running multiple times. Finally when we had our offer accepted closing was so straightforward I was shocked. Melissa is the one to work with full stop.

I strongly recommend Melissa Ebong for your real estate needs. My husband and I were first time home buyers so we were clueless about everything. We had no idea how to bid, how to get a home loan or what to expect. Melissa knew it all and helped us along the way. She helped us navigate through a very competitive housing market. She was available to discuss strategy at all times of the day. We experienced a lot of ups and downs along the way, but she was always in our corner and remained friendly and upbeat along the way. Making a major decision like this has to be done with care and extreme patience. We found a gem in our home purchasing experience. Melissa was willing to work with my fiance' and I's busy schedules, adjusted in a way that allowed us room to make all considerations, checked in with us without feeling intrusive, and made sure we were comfortable with all of the parties working collaboratively with us in the process so our decisions were well thought out and comprehensive. Choosing Melissa to sell my home was a great decision because of her hyper local knowledge of the market, work ethic and how personable and hands-on her approach is. Melissa delivered in every way by helping me to beautifully decorate and prepare my home, arranging for great photos, networking to create excitement even before I listed, sharing her enthusiasm for my home and neighborhood to prospective buyers and negotiating the sales contract. Melissa came highly recommended from other neighbors in our community so the bar was set pretty high. She still consistently went above and beyond our expectations as a realtor. As an example, we had a very specific model of home that we were interested in of which there was no inventory currently on the market. Melissa hand wrote letters to every home owner with that model in the community to inquire about the possibility of a sale. When we entered into negotiations she fought hard to get us a fair price. When we went under contract she was right there with us for every inspection, question, concern and obstacle. Even after we closed she came and welcomed us to our new home and has since been a resource for any questions we've had post sale.
