Melissa Hamlin

Melissa is a native Californian who maximized life as a Navy family and traveled the world before settling down in the Washington area. She graduated from The University of Maryland with a Business Degree and worked for a Boston residential developer before joining Compass.

Managing her military family through eight moves and several home purchases and sales, Melissa understands the complexities involved in moving and works hard to make her clients’ experiences enjoyable while guiding them to a successful settlement. As a Realtor®, Melissa is passionate about the details of the transaction, the needs and goals of her clients, and protecting their interests.

Active in her church, the mother of two teenagers, and married for 20 years, Melissa stays busy in her free time. Among her favorite activities are international travel, playing volleyball, reading a great book, and most importantly, moments spent with family and friends.
