Melissa Hawke has been passionate about real estate and helping people achieve a major milestone in their lives, and this has been her driving factor. She strives to demonstrate the highest level of integrity and commitment towards her clients and also aims to bring a little fun into a process that can be quite stressful.
Melissa is a proud San Diegan having spent many of her younger years and the last 16 years of her adult life in San Diego. Growing up in a military family, Melissa was afforded the opportunity to travel and live in places like Italy - where she was born, Southern California, and the Philippines. Experiencing different places and cultures has kept her grounded with the ability to keep an open mind while never losing sight of her goals. While in the Philippines, she earned a Bachelors of Science in Architecture and worked for a construction management company.
Once Melissa graduated college she moved back to San Diego, where she calls “Home.” She climbed the corporate ladder starting off as an Estimating Assistant, Bid Coordinator, Procurement Manager, then respectfully resigned as an Electrical Estimator. She could have continued her estimating journey but when her and her husband were blessed with their beautiful baby girl, she immediately realized it was time to pursue her true passion, Real Estate.
Melissa is always choosing quality over quantity - holding herself and her clients to the highest standards. With Melissa’s negotiating skills, estimating background, professional work ethic and constant goal of achieving extraordinary results, she is confident in her abilities of satisfying the needs of both parties in every real estate transaction she handles.
