Raised in Chicago, Illinois, Melissa made the journey to Northern California in 2005 where she has raised her family in the Lodi, Stockton, and Sacramento areas. Melissa's family has called beautiful sunny California home for many years.

She has always thrived on continuous knowledge and learning from people in various settings and all walks of life.
