About MELISSA
Yankee born and bred; Melissa Nelson won the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors Humanitarian Award in 1999 while with Watson Realty-where she excelled for 25 years.
On the road to the First Coast, she acquired her BA degree in Miami. She followed that up with a master’s and doctoral studies here in Jacksonville. Melissa found her passion as a math and English teacher who was adored citywide. She continued her professional learning curve with employment in banking and psychiatric rehabilitation.
She acquired her real estate license in 1987 along with her GRI, CRS, CDPE, and CAPS certifications which culminated in her single handedly developing an $11,000,000.00 beachside community. All of which shaped her experiences with insight and success making her an invaluable asset in all areas of your real estate needs.
