Melvin Guy

Melvin was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas but has spent over 10 years living in the Greater Memphis area. He attended the University of Memphis where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Education and earned his TN Teacher certification. Melvin loves calling Memphis home. He is a proud supporter of the Memphis Tigers and Grizzlies. He is also involved in the Memphis community through the Memphis Urban League Young Professionals and the New Memphis Fellows Program.

Melvin spent several years as a middle school math and science teacher. There he was able to get an understanding of how impactful developing relationships are to helping people attain their goals. As well as, fine tuning his communication skills and learning the importance of patience.

After being in the classroom, Melvin decided it was time for a change that would allow him to still foster relationships and help guide people toward bettering their lives. In the process of him and his wife buying their first home, Melvin’s interest in real estate peaked. Since making the change to becoming a Realtor, Melvin has made it his focus to help families achieve their goal of becoming homeowners and helping sellers make the most of their investment in their house. He has assisted clients in the buying and selling process from all over the Greater Memphis Area and would love to work with you in achieving your goal of buying or selling a home.
