I have been a full time REALTOR for almost 25 years, and I love what I do! I am originally from the South Jersey/Philadelphia area and I remember well the difficulties of moving to a new area. It was not easy! I use that experience to this day to help all my clients make their move less stressful.
Southeastern Connecticut is a beautiful part of the State with many hiking and biking paths, parks, and beaches on Long Island Sound. Mystic is considered one of the best little tourist spots in the country and is a quaint little town with amazing restaurants and shopping. Call me for some great restaurant choices! We are home to two of the largest casinos in the world- Mohegan Sun Casino and Foxwoods Resort and Casino. Both casinos have amazing entertainment, concerts and restaurants. The New London Sub Base is located in Groton, and it is always my pleasure to deal our Military and Veteran buyers and sellers, as my husband is retired military. The Thames River is home to the annual Harvard/Yale Regatta that takes place every year, starting in Gales Ferry. It is such a fun event! The Coast Guard Academy is also located on the Thames River, as is Connecticut College.
There is plenty of employment opportunities in the area, in addition to the casinos, we are home to Pfizer, Electric Boat and many medical facilities.
Eastern Connecticut is home to the UCONN Huskies, which always brings excitement to the State. Both the Women’s and Men’s Basketball programs hang multiple championship banners!
I am a past President of the Eastern Connecticut Association of REALTORS, as well as a past REALTOR of the Year. I have experience working with sellers that are relocating out of State, downsizing, upsizing and any other reason you can think of! And finally, a little about me personally! My husband Tom (also a REALTOR) and I live in Ledyard, CT and we have 5 children. My daughter, Alayna, has just come aboard the Real Estate train and is working along side me. There is also Christina, John, Cassandra and Amber. We are adoptive and foster parents through the Waterford Country School Organization. In our spare time, we enjoy game nights with family and friends, are avid sports fans, and enjoy watching and attending sporting events. I am also a baker and specialize in cookies. People start asking me October not to forget them for Christmas cookies! Lol It’s a long, labor of love!
