Mervat Olds

Mervat was born in Doha, Qatar and came to America when she was 3 years old. Mervat grew up in the Silver Spring, MD area and then moved to Northern VA during her last years of high school. She received her bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Logistics from the Sun Devil university, Arizona State. She has lived in Arizona, California, Washington state, Colorado and back to VA after she got married and had her first child. Her original passion was architecture, but she did not like all the math classes she had to take to get that degree, so she went into Purchasing! She ended up getting a job as a product manager in the telecommunication industry where she worked for over 15 years. The company she worked for ended up having layoffs where she was affected. This gave her the opportunity to finally do what she loved doing...working with people and looking at the design of homes! When her husband and she started looking for their first home, she noted all the good points that their realtor helped them with, and she vowed she will do the same to help her customers. What you see is what you get with her as your realtor. She works hard for her clients and does what she can to get them the best deal possible. She does go over and above her line of duty with pleasure.
