My wife and I became acquainted with Michael through a first-time homebuyer course for which he was a presenter. He is extremely knowledgeable and represented our best interests with integrity and professionalism. Mike met me at the property and gave his assesment of the property. We decided to rent to property instead of sell, Mike was there every step of the process. I let Mike know about a house that I had seen on HotPads.com and he found out that they had taken off the market to do some painting, but he connected with the Listing Agent and was able to be the first to show the house when it went back on the market for rent. We were going through a rough financial period, with less than perfect credit, but Mike was able to explain what was going on and that we would be good and trustworthy tenants, he allowed us to be seriously considered for the rental. My wife and I decided to rent our townhouse and look for a single family home in the Parkville area. I contacted Michael and he helped us with the entire process of renting out our townhouse (which was done incredibly fast) and helped us find our new home. Michael helped us figure out a price range we could afford and took us out to see many houses whenever we had time. Michael worked around our schedule to accommodate house viewings and contract negotiations. Michael made everything seem so easy. He did not show us houses that would be out of our price range and really worked hard to keep us at a house payment reasonable for us. I do not know what we would have done without him. Michael was very knowledgeable about many of the new laws and loans that are in Maryland. Michael was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking to buy, sell, or rent a house.

Mike made it easy, smooth and painless. After looking at a few houses in my desired community, I found a small end unit townhouse that was perfect for my son and I. Not to mention the house is walking distance from several play grounds and the community pool which I know my son will LOVE as he gets older! Once I knew for sure it was the house I wanted, he started the negotiation process with the buyers agent right away, wrote up an offer and to my surprise, my offer was accepted! Mike is very professional yet easy going, smart, patient and really truly cares about his clients. I closed on my house September 5th yet him and I still communicate regularly which says a lot about the kind of person he is! He isnt just about making a sale, he's about making sure his clients are happy! Michael Carnahan is THE MAN!
