Michael Davi is a broker associate with Sotheby's International Realty and was born and raised in Carmel, California. He comes from a family that has been involved in real estate on the Peninsula since the 1940’s. His grandfather started investing in properties across the peninsula, and since then, he has had nearly a dozen family members involved in real estate, with many still active to this day. Over the years, the Davi name has become synonymous with real estate.
Michael graduated from the University of Arizona in 2011 with a BS in Regional Development and a minor in Business. Upon graduating, he went straight into a high-paced public relations and marketing firm based out of southern California. Starting off as an intern at 21, he was quickly promoted through the ranks to manager-level, participating in and overseeing a multitude of different accounts spanning industries from technology, business, sports, health + fitness, aerospace, fashion + gear, while also running events, high-level CEO and executive marketing, and more. He spent over six years with the agency before moving back home to the Monterey Peninsula to pursue his career in real estate, which began in 2017.
Prior to joining Sotheby’s International, Michael ran Davi Properties Group with his father John, a small independent agency here in Monterey. His father has spent over 48 years active in the real estate industry, consistently being a top producer throughout his career. Michael was able to learn the ins and outs of this profession from one of the best and is determined to continue keeping the Davi real estate legacy strong for years to come. Michael knows that the fundamentals of real estate are timeless, and is fiercely committed to excellent service, integrity, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
Michael currently lives in Monterey with his wife Sara and their two little girls, Bella and Lia. He enjoys playing sports, any and all of them, especially golf, basketball, and softball, and watching his girls become yogis, ballerinas, softball and soccer stars and little fashionistas. He is a girl dad through and through and loves every bit of it.
