About Michael
To Mike Elledge, real estate is about two things: place and community. A California native, Mike grew up on a 300 acre ranch in Northern California, raising cattle, chickens, turkeys, and rabbits. His first job was at the age of 15—building houses. He learned everything from framing and drywall hanging to landscaping. To this day, Mike credits that first job with giving him a unique eye into home buying and home selling.
His first career was in telecommunications and took shape in Southern California, where he worked his way up from the mailroom to a senior manager for companies like Sprint, Qwest, and Gateway. The work took him to offices across the region, from San Diego to Universal City—and everything in between. His departments ranged from procurement to engineering, from marketing to business-to-business sales—but his specialty was building communities. Whether it's leading a team to address a pressing communications problem, or combining technologies to form a unique, bundled solution, Mike fosters a space of trust, good humor, and mutual respect.
In 2012, Mike partnered with two friends to start a recreational sports club in Long Beach called Volitude Sports. It was a project that pulled people together. As a club leader, his top priority was to help members find the space that was right for them: whether it was beach volleyball, beach soccer, kickball or flag football. The project fueled his interest in finding a new career—one that could combine the skillsets he had been developing his whole life.
When he met his future wife and moved to the Southern California desert—Mike took the leap into real estate. As a project manager, he approaches each issue in an organized, strategic way. As a community-builder, he helps bring buyers and sellers together to create an environment of trust.
Mike is a proud husband to Jennifer and father to Aiden Chase. To him, home isn't just where the heart is—it's also where you take it. Mike and his wife Jen are at home hiking, camping, boating, scuba diving, playing sports, and spending time with their two dogs, family, and friends.
