Michael Fricke

Michael began his career in high-end real estate sales around Lake Tahoe and Truckee in 2004. With the addition of the Reno office of Sierra Sotheby's International Realty, Michael enthusiastically expanded his business into the exciting Reno/Sparks markets and now truly lives the Reno/Tahoe Realtor® life. Whether it's a vacation property up in the mountains or a full-time Reno residence, Michael is the trusted advisor you'll want on your side to successfully market your home or find you the homes you always wanted no matter where the location.

After growing up in picturesque Franklin Lakes, NJ, Michael felt the pull of the west and studied at the University of Colorado, Boulder where he graduated with a degree in Psychology and became a certified web master while working in a major software firm before deciding to follow his skiing dreams to Lake Tahoe back in 1999.

As the son of a former Pan Am flight attendant who immigrated from Germany, Michael is always planning his next international adventure. He enjoys attending every Summer and Winter Olympics with his friends and travels all over the world with an international adventure racing series. Michael also travels to England and Germany quite frequently to visit family and friends and even speaks fluent German. When he's not selling homes or traveling, Michael also enjoys performing locally as a singer/guitar player and even owns a small business called Tahoe Hitch Cover. Michael is also a fully certified (level 3) skiing instructor and is the former supervisor of the Alpine Meadows Children's Ski School.

Michael's favorite part of working in Real Estate is the relationships he is able to create and nurture over many years of dedicated service to his clients who inevitably become his friends. For Michael, it is all about providing incredible service and in so doing, becoming the most trusted advisor in all aspects of life in Reno and Lake Tahoe.
