About Michael
DHRP’s COO, Michael D. Hoover, loves astronomy and would travel anywhere in the world to see constellations on a clear night. He dreamed of becoming an astronaut while growing up. Setting his sights high is how Michael created a successful 45 year-long-career in Commercial Real Estate. His broad industry experience covers the entire spectrum, from development and management to leasing, acquisition, sales, and construction.
To date, Michael has sold and leased more than $700 million worth of investment property and is responsible for a property management portfolio of over 7 million square feet. Michael is an expert in selling and managing Commercial Real Estate. He loves to take properties and create value for the highest and best use, which requires thinking “outside the box’.
Michael also handles construction management and leasing. He represents investors from all over the country in a variety of Commercial Real Estate sectors, including raw land, shopping centers, office buildings, and warehouses.
He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Building Owners and Managers Association, San Antonio Economic Development Foundation, a former Chairman of the Board for the San Antonio downtown YMCA and Director of the “Think God” Campaign.
Michael is a very involved and active Husband, Dad & Grandfather. He enjoys fishing, the beach, listening to music and spending time with his beautiful wife ballroom dancing as often as possible.
