As the son of a career Coast Guard serviceman, Michael’s early years involved a lot of moving, and meeting and making new friends along the way. Born in Seattle in 1957, then to Coos Bay Oregon, Bellevue Washington, Livonia Michigan, Cordova Alaska, and back to Bellevue in 1970. He has been an “Eastsider” ever since. Organized and outdoor sports were big parts of his life, and still are: baseball, football, camping, and fishing. After finishing school in Bellevue, Michael married and, together with his wife, raised their children there. After working for the City of Bellevue for 35 years, he retired in 2012 as Deputy Director of Utilities. In 2013 he and his wife moved to North Bend where they now reside.
Married since 1983 with three children and six grandchildren. Michael’s family is his greatest achievement and of what he is most proud. Along the way he coached his children’s baseball, football, and basketball teams, and they even won a few league and state championships.
Michael is so grateful to still be in close friendships with people he has known from his childhood, school days, and work career. Finally, Fishing: Michael loves fishing and is fortunate to catch a lot of fish.
Michael chose to work in Real Estate because he enjoys helping people. The most rewarding part of his career with Bellevue Utilities was when he was able to help people. Real estate is another way he can help people. Though real estate involves buying and selling homes and property, real estate is not about buying and selling homes and property. Real estate is about helping people. Helping them can often be a stressful and sometimes complicated decision and process. He is just here to help you in any way he can. Michael will always be honest with you, loyal to you, and nobody will outwork him.
