Michael Johnston specializes in the acquisition and disposition of multi-family and commercial property in San Francisco and Marin County. Michael began his brokerage career in San Francisco in 2004 at Marcus & Millichap, and since then, has brokered multi-family, commercial and mixed-use properties ranging from $1 million dollar duplexes to $20 million dollar trophy investments.

Michael applies his extensive market experience to guide clients through what can be the complicated process of buying and selling investment real estate. Michael’s success lies in his ability to protect his clients’ interests and negotiate the best terms for those he represents.

Born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County, Michael has had intimate knowledge of the city for many years. He attended St. Ignatius College Prep and received his bachelor’s degree in business & economics from UC Santa Barbara. Michael lives in Mill Valley with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his family, surfing and coaching baseball.
