Licensed in 1995, Michael Gleason spent the first part of his career primarily in new construction. After about 3 years of building a strong sphere of influence, he began to expand his expertise to include existing homes and to date has well over 400 happy homeowner families whom he now calls Friends.
Price ranges have been from $50,000 to over 1.1 million. His clients all know that he will work diligently for them at any price point, always returning calls promptly and advising them through every step of the process.
In April of 2017, he accepted the position of Managing Broker at Abbitt Realty's new office in Williamsburg, building a dedicated team. His focus is on training all of his agents to operate with the client's best interests at heart, first and foremost.
Most of his civic involvement and community service is accomplished through his affiliation with Abbitt Realty, and also membership in the Rotary Club of Warwick at City Center. Through that medium, he is able to donate his time and money to organizations such as The Food Bank, YMCA, Virginia Living Museum, Habitat for Humanity and others that have allowed him to volunteer for such activities as The Children's Fishing Clinic, Coats for Kids, Mayors Book Club, and Salvation Army Fundraising to name a few.
He attends Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia. In 2016 Michael went on a Mission Trip with Bethel Baptist Church to help rebuild an old hotel that now houses students who attend the Northeastern Baptist College in Bennington, Vermont. This was an amazing and humbling experience and he plans to do more mission work in the near future, and continue his volunteer work with the Rotary Club.
