About Michael

Michael is licensed as a Managing Broker in the State of Washington. A graduate of Washington State University, Michael initially taught high school, using his skills as a salesman to convince students to do their homework! He transitioned into a job selling educational software in downtown Seattle where he eventually became the most successful salesman in the company’s 20 year history. Michael was awarded the Titan’s Club award in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 and the highest award - Diamond, from 2019-2023 putting him in the top 1.5% of all RE/MAX brokers world-wide in terms of production. He was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame for production over the course of his career. Michael is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and has completed extensive coursework as well as the transaction experience required to obtain this prestigious designation. He is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), Certified for Internet Professionalism (e-PRO), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) and is a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). Michael loves what he does and takes great pride in the fact that his past clients insist that their friends and family use him for their real estate needs in our area. Michael is very active in the community and within his Realtor Association. He served 6 terms as President of the Sequim Association of Realtors. He is the past President of Citizens for Sequim Schools and served as a board member of Sequim Family Advocates. Michael knows the Sequim community very well and works tirelessly to make it a great place to live for all.

We had a great experience with Team McAleer as our realtor. They really marketed our home well via Facebook, Homes.com, and their website. They even hosted an agents only open house to showcase our house to other realtors in the area. They also provided an excellent referral to a local roofing company when it was discovered during our inspection that it needed a new roof. Their communication was top notch. We were kept up to date all along the way during escrow. We definitely recommend their services. Thank you Team McAleer, you helped us move closer to our kids and granddaughter.

You cannot go wrong with Michael and his team. They did a fabulous job selling my mom's home. She has downsized to assisted living and the initial letting go of the house was very protracted. Michael was very sensitive and considerate, giving us plenty of time without pressure. He well understands the challenges of this kind of move. Once we were getting ready to list, he was helpful and developed a price point which fit our needs well. When we had the house ready, he was able to get it on the market almost instantly. He and his team have been accessible and responsive at every stage, happily taking time to explain anything I asked.
You cannot go wrong with them.
