We had a very difficult situation, because we were needing to sell the property as Attorneys In Fact for a relative with dementia who hadn't lived in the home since 12/15/23. Before we even hired Team McAleer, Michael walked through the house with us, reassuring us that it was solidly built and that we shouldn't simply sell it as an "as is" property. He advised us on steps of getting it ready to sell, and was accessible every step of the way. Once we signed with Team McAleer, Michael, Dotty Armbright, and Debbie Swanson were with us every step, supporting us and advising us through the downturn in the seller's market and the hesitant and complicated offers made by 3 potential buyers until they found us the right one. You cannot go wrong with Michael and his team. They did a fabulous job selling my mom's home. She has downsized to assisted living and the initial letting go of the house was very protracted. Michael was very sensitive and considerate, giving us plenty of time without pressure. He well understands the challenges of this kind of move. Once we were getting ready to list, he was helpful and developed a price point which fit our needs well. When we had the house ready, he was able to get it on the market almost instantly. He and his team have been accessible and responsive at every stage, happily taking time to explain anything I asked.

Team McAleer did its usual sterling job in the recent sale of our home. This was complicated by the fact we were committed to move to MD leaving little time for marketing and waiting for the "right" buyer. A difficult buyer with lots of questions and issues, taking advantage of the situation we were in as sellers, added to the problems. Throughout Michael was cool, professional, and always focused on the best outcome available to us as his clients. This was our second sale through McAleer, and probably the last unless he opens an agency in MD.

I recently sold my house In Sequim,WA through Michael's Remax office there. When I bought the house 21 years ago it was a very simple process taking only a day or so for the formalities. Things have gotten hugely more complicated and without he and his firm's staff I would never been able to navigate all of the required steps with just an average realtor. Someone in his agency or Michael was instantly available to answer the most trivial question and offer encouragement. There were a number of sticking points in the negotiations that he smoothed over in short order in novel and creative ways. Were it not for him and staff I would have ended up with an emotional breakdown. All of this after moving to another city.

Michael McAleer and his team at RE/MAX Prime represented our property here in Sequim, WA in March 2020 during the covid outbreak. If we hadn't already signed on building our new house, we would have waited due to our fears about selling a home during a pandemic. But, we had no choice unless we wanted to own two houses. So we went forward with our listing, but in a quandry about who would come to look, let alone to buy. Team McAleer came to place the lock box along with a covid required instructions to enter the house. In three weeks we had a solid offer and a deal was accepted.
