About Michael

As a native New Zealander, Mike spent his formative professional career with a Kiwi fruit export company. Throughout this career and others, Mike honed his drive to accommodate client needs, building trust in challenging environments. A visit to the United States years later, convinced Mike to trade his island lifestyle for the lakeside beauty of Plumas County. After beginning a life with his wife, Sheila, and children, Mike relocated to Chico, California in 2000. But it was only upon numerous visits to Lake Almanor, Mike and Sheila purchased a cabin in 2006. With years of extensive travel and adventure behind him, Mike took root and decided to try his hand in realty. Bringing his vast sales experience to the trade, he is now a full-time agent with the Lake Almanor Brokers family.
As a realtor, Mike has been able to share the breathtaking scenery and his enthusiasm for area diversions: golf, boating, fishing, and hunting. In his spare time, Mike coaches a combined high school club rugby.
