Michael is an incredible and knowledgeable agent who was able to guide us through the difficult process of purchasing a home in Seattle. While some agents are very pushy to get you to buy as soon as possible, Michael was able to help us remove the rose colored glasses and pass on houses that would have been risky, while helping us bid properly on the perfect home for us. I would recommend him highly especially if you are interested in Northwest Seattle, where he is very in tune with the local market.

As an added bonus, he's very knowledgeable about plants and acted as our personal botanist when we had questions about a house's landscaping :D

Michael Pollock is a terrific realtor with over 15 years of experience. My husband and I moved to the Seattle area from New York to live near family members after we retired. We didn't know anything about the suburbs except we wanted to live in one. Michael patiently showed us many - whenever we mentioned one, he would schedule visits to homes there and provide relevant details of that area. He has an excellent eye for details (construction materials, worn/damaged/dated items, size of acreage and landscaping, adjacent properties [eg, an old rundown apartment building or a nice park with trails] and nearby highways such as proximity to the 405, 520, and their noise and affect on local traffic) and how all these affect a property's value. He listens carefully and decides what you're really interested in - the houses he selects gradually become closer to what you really want, and perhaps you didn't even yet realize! Along this theme, he found a house in the Bridle Trails area which we decided was exactly what we "needed"....Michael advised us closely through the entire day-long bidding war which we "won" - our first and only bid for a house!
Throughout the several months we looked for a house, Michael was patient and supportive. He was never pushy - he professed wanting us to be happy with our final choice - you can see he truly enjoys his work including meeting a variety of people. I highly recommend Michael as an excellent experienced realtor - you won't be disappointed.
