The average realtor will negotiate about 95% of list price for sellers, I average about 98.5% for my sellers. On a $200,000 house that a buyer wants to purchase: an average realtor negotiates a price of $197,000. My typical negotiation would get the buyer a price of $190,000. In this example; I would have saved my buyer $7000 more than the average realtor. I have been a realtor since 2003.
