Michael Shin

Michael Shin has been interested in real estate since he was small. Growing up in Chicago, he was always surrounded by beautiful, unique properties. As he grew, he searched real estate websites to see what was happening in the market. Instantly drawn to the industry, he bought his first property at the age of 24, his first project starting a decade of working in development.

After attending University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a degree in Biology and Hearing Science and earning his Master’s Degree in Medical Speech Pathology at Rush University in Chicago, Michael went on to complete a clinical fellowship at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Lutheran General Hospital and Alexian Brothers Medical Center. He started his career in the medical field, investing and doing development in his spare time. After over 14 years, he decided it was finally time to pursue his dream, becoming a full-time real estate broker.

When he decided to join the Coldwell Banker Lincoln Park Plaza office, he knew it was the right place to grow his business.
