About Michael
Originally from Idaho Falls, Idaho, Mike moved to Chandler in 1987 with his wife and two sons. His family ran a successful construction/plumbing company where he learned many skills and became quite the handyman. He quickly learned two things, knowledge and a good work ethic can go a long way in life. Once in Arizona, he decided to change careers and studied finance and became an investment adviser at Smith Barney and succeeded for over 15 years. However, he realized something was missing, he was not working with people face to face and providing a tangible service with immediate results.
Even though it was a huge career change he went back to his first love, doing construction as a project manager. During that time he also obtained his Arizona Real Estate license. Finally, he knew that Real Estate was his passion and spent the next 8 years as an independent Realtor. Those years were long and hard as real estate had been devastated, but he still out performed the average Realtor by 3 to 1. For the past 6 years he has been working on a team that has spent time at 2 large brokerage firms. Now he has chosen to go back to being an independent Realtor. Given the ever-changing Real Estate market he wanted to have the flexibility to help clients in all aspects of the business. He uses his vast knowledge of construction and finance to help build solid relations through sound advice and recommendation. He does his very best to make Real Estate simple for his clients.
