After growing up in the Chicago suburbs and living in Gunnison, CO for 17 years Michael and his wife decided it was time to find a more suitable place to raise their three young children. Michael was looking for winters that were not so long, access to biking and hiking trails right out of his front door and a bigger "city" with amenities like good schools, first class medical access, shopping, and activities for the kids.
