Mike and Jessica Wolf are the real deal team. When we were referred to Mike to help with the home buying process, he was there every step of the way. They took our wants, areas, and desires in a house to base their searches on. The process was effortlessly. We looked at 10 homes in a day and our first one is now our home. We based each home on each other and couldn’t pass up on the first one.
During the offers, home inspection, counters and such, he made sure we were on track and closed shortly afterwards.

What a ride on this funding. Throughout the entire process with many ups and downs, everyone stayed professional and helpful beyond belief. It was as though someone took the best specialists from the beginning to the end AND PLACED THEM ON ONE TEAM. AND I know they are still behind me if I have a question or a problem.
The problems were few if any at all. Typically if I thought I had an issue it almost always turned out to be how I or my wife Juliane were perceiving it. But no matter how many times that happened they never got angry or upset even though they had every right to be angry and upset.

Mike and Jessica are the absolute best!! We've used them twice now to purchase a home in San Diego. We briefly moved out of state and while trying to buy a home in San Diego while living across the country wasn't ideal, Mike & Jessica made it so smooth and easy for us. Since homes were going off the market within days they would go look at homes for us since we were not local. They would take videos for us along with facetime so we could see it.

They are extraordinary communicators and have an awesome team. Once you begin the escrow process, their team provides a very clear timeline and organizes all the info that you need to know including lists of contacts for water, electricity, gas, etc for the various areas of San Diego and have always provided the best referrals whenever we have asked for things.

These two are more than just realtors, they've become friends that you can trust. They provide the best advice, recommendations/referrals, and top notch communication. As first time homeowners (and soon to be first-time parents) with crazy work schedules, trying to find a home before our baby arrived was stressful but Mike and his team made the home buying experience easy for us. To sum it up, Mike is an enthusiastic, patient, and very knowledgable realtor and we were very happy with our experience with him.

At our first meeting, he sat down with us to learn more about us as a couple and what we were looking for in a house. We had gone to a few open houses by ourselves before deciding to find a realtor, and Mike’s expertise became very apparent once he started accompanying us to showings - he pointed out small details about each house, what he liked or thought we should watch out for, things to know about each neighborhood, etc. He was never pushy about making an offer, which we really appreciated, and happily accommodated us as we looked at all sorts of houses in the beginning. Mike was always available by phone or text, responding quickly to our questions even at night, and he would go out of his way to set up showings that accommodated our schedules as quickly as possible once we indicated interest in a property.

When we were ready to start making offers, he thoroughly explained the process to us. We never felt rushed or pushed to make an offer that we didn’t feel comfortable with. He basically held our hands every step of the way, from start to finish, and it didn’t end once we had our offer accepted on what ultimately became our house. He helped us negotiate a sizable seller credit, ran interference with our lender and escrow team when they almost fumbled the ball at the finish line, and basically kept all the moving pieces in order. We closed in under 21 days, which I’m told is no easy feat and likely would not have happened without Mike nudging everyone to do their part. He also had an extensive list of referrals for all sorts of tradespeople and remained in touch even after closing to make sure everything was going well.

We will happily refer friends and colleagues who need to buy a house in San Diego to him, and if we ever decide we’re in the market for another house, he will definitely be our go to person again!

Despite the roll out of social distancing measures and the other impacts to home viewing and real-estate business related to the pandemic, Mike and his team were very accommodating, flexible, personal, and responsive. A friend recommended Mike and Jessica to us when we decided to sell and buy end of 2021. As soon as we met them we knew it was the team we wanted to work with.

I found Mike and Jessica Wolf by chance when looking to sell a condo in 2020. If I recall, it was simply by looking up top-reviewed real estate agents in San Diego. They absolutely lived up to their reputations!

Being new to the selling process, I had endless questions including investment strategies, timelines... and probably some foolish questions as well. Mike took the time to lay everything out, and I was so happy with the experience that I called on them when I decided it was time to buy a house only a few months ago.

We were not preparing/planning on purchasing a home, but due to an unexpected rent increase, we decided to start looking.... thus we were starting at ground zero (ie. no realtor, no lender, etc). As first time home buyers, we were able to find our home on our own online. However, finding the house is just one small step…

We knew we wanted someone with many years of experience and a realtor that has worked with both sellers and buyers to walk us through each step of the way. In this seller’s market, we needed someone that was on top of everything, aggressive and more importantly, knew exactly what it took to make this deal happen. We are thankful to have found Michael through Buffini and Company.

From day one Michael exceeded our expectations a hundred-fold. He lined us up with a lender right away who knew exactly what the underwriter was looking for, making the entire funding process a breeze. He spoke directly with the seller (which is rare – but he ran with the punches!) as well as the seller’s agent and worked out a deal. He was mindful to let us know the pitfalls we may run into each step of the way and gave us one step at a time, to not overwhelm us in the process.

The inspection process was intense to say the least but Michael literally did all of the work lining up a wide variety of inspectors to not leave any stone unturned (quite literally), getting quotes for repairs within days and making sure that we reached a fair deal in credits for such repairs. His list of quality referrals is extensive and we know that if we find a need down the road, he will be just a quick email/text/call away – even at midnight, seriously – we don’t think he sleeps!

We are incredibly thankful for the quality care and expertise Michael and his team put into our first home purchase and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others! Him and his team continue to support our questions/needs even months after our purchase. We have already started recommending him to friends and colleagues. All in all, it took just 7 days from finding the house to getting our bid accepted thanks to Michael. We were moving in just 21 days later!

When my husband and I began our home search, we put together our wish list – price range, location, number of bedrooms, garage, etc. What we quickly learned was how blessed we were to have Jessica and Mike help us turn our wish into a reality, especially in San Diego’s hyper-competitive real estate market. Jessica keyed into our family’s immediate and long term needs and then helped us navigate through customized searches. If a property piqued our interest to consider an offer, her comp analysis gave us a clearer perspective on what a compelling offer would look like. And, in hindsight, the analysis helped us avoid offers that we later may not have been happy with.

When we saw the home we are now living in, my husband and I immediately knew “this is it,” and were ready to make an offer that day. Jessica was able to quickly develop a solid connection with the seller’s agent and got key insight that helped us create an offer that the seller would be receptive to. Our offer was accepted outright. Throughout the process, we never waited on a response or felt like we were in a lull; Jessica and her team were working behind the scenes to ensure things kept moving. We received the same high level of service from everyone we interacted with on the CB team.

As we moved into the inspection process, Jessica was diligent about following up with the seller’s agent to define and close out repair responsibilities and provided us detail on when work was being done. The referrals Jessica provided were excellent and her home inspector found items that were missed on a previous inspection (not ours). We are first time home buyers and we appreciated that Jessica was able to anticipate any action we may need to take based on outcome of the inspection. When we got to the final walk through, Jessica did a line-by-line review of each repair to make sure we were satisfied with the outcome. I thought it said a lot about Jessica’s eye to detail and genuine concern when she used her phone charger to check every single electrical outlet we’d requested be repaired (and there were several).

We know that Jessica was working with multiple clients, but we honestly felt like we were the only ones. There is a personal touch with everything that she does and our home is an extension of that. Mike provided the most stress free experience while exceeding my expectations. I was in the situation of selling my current property and buying a new one. Since this was the first time I have ever had to do this, especially in a pandemic, I was BEYOND stressed. He informed me of all scenarios and never hesitated to answer the many questions that popped in my head, no matter the time of day. There are many things to highlight about Mike, but I think the one that stands out the most and speaks volumes, is his strong commitment to his clients.

For example, it wasn't till after a few showings that I found a condo that I HAD to view. I informed Mike that I wanted to view it asap once it came out on the market. He did not disappoint and got me the first showing of the day it was on the market. I fell in LOVE with the property and told Mike, within reason, we need to do everything we can to secure this property. He worked his magic and communicated EXCELLENTLY to the seller's agent to understand the seller's needs. Thus in under 18 hours my offer was accepted. Coincidentally, my offer was accepted the first day my property went on the market which leads me to the next example.

Since I found a replacement property, I needed to sell my current but close before the purchase of my replacement property. This stressed me out, cause it only gave me a few days of getting an offer to ensure we can close on my selling property before my purchase. With that being said, we got an offer and Mike talked to the buyer's agent to ensure that we could close before my other property and it worked out. BIG stress relief.

I think the most important instance of his commitment was when I got an appraisal done on the purchase property. It came in way under offer price, a gap that was essentially impossible to bridge between seller and buyer. But instead of moping on the issue, Mike referred me to Petya at Guaranteed rate and within hours my preapproval was completed and a new appraisal was ordered. The new appraisal came back and came over asking price, woohoo! Mike could have told me to move on, but he knew how much I loved this place and immediately got in touch with his preferred Lender and worked together with me and Petya to get all the work done to still close in time.

With the care he gave to me, tandem teamwork and his ability to communicate both to me and other agents, I felt that I was being taken care of as if I was the most important client. There is no one else I recommend more than Mike. He has the best intentions for you and will exceed your expectations.

And here's the much longer (but definitely worth reading) version of my review: My fiance and I started our home search in May of 2020, right in the midst of the COVID craziness. We originally started off with a different real estate agent that we were connected with through our credit union's home buying program. After two months or so, putting in over 15 offers on houses and losing out to other buyers [ every. single. time. ] we were frustrated and stressed out to say the least. The market was much more competitive than we expected and we decided it was time to switch realtors, and that's when I came across Mike and Jessica via google search. After reading all their amazing Yelp reviews I called right away. Mike responded really quickly, and even on the initial phone call was so helpful and full of information for me (we mostly worked with him during this process). He referred us to a new lender who gave us a much better rate than our credit union and met up with us to go over our goals, must haves, and budget - so with a renewed sense of hope we continued on our home search. No joke, our offer was accepted on the second try this time around with Mike and his team on our side. He knew exactly how to structure our offer and present us as the ideal buyer in this extremely competitive market. We were almost in shock when our offer was accepted because we had felt so defeated from our previous experience. As first time home buyers we were pretty nervous at times and also had about a million questions, but Mike was always available and happy to provide answers or reassure us. The difference between our last agent and Mike could not have been more clear - we wished that we had found the Wolf team sooner. Coming into this I really didn't understand the importance of having a good realtor. I thought they show you around, find a house you like and then you never see them again. WELL BOY WAS I WRONG! While in escrow we found out that the sale was going to be a shortsale due to the sellers miscalculating how much they owed. Mike and his team were very informative about the whole process and were making constant inquiries with the selling agent to make sure the shortsale went as smooth as it could. One of the most professional, friendly, dedicated realtors we have ever worked with. We told him what we wanted and had a bid in for the house the first day. After being in San Diego less than 2 weeks he had helped us to find our home and get the winning bid.

Mike and Jessica are a great team! Additionally, everyone in their office is most helpful and extremely quick and efficient. Mike and Jessica assisted us with both the selling of our old home and the purchasing of our new home. We have two small children and my biggest concern was that we'd be either behind or too far ahead in the sale or vice versa. Mike knew this and took every step to ensure that both transactions were absolutely seamless. The sale and purchase of our home were within a day of each other so everything came together perfectly and quickly! Mike also was never too busy for all of our questions and concerns even if he had already gone over them a few times! We felt totally protected in this team's hands and I cannot say enough about their expertise and professionalism. Mike and his team provide the best service at the highest level. As a third time home buyer I have had my share of Realtors and without a doubt Mike was the best! He was very attentive to my needs and was able to make a great game plan for my move to San Diego. Once we found the house of my dreams we literally closed on the house 3 weeks later. From the housing inspection all the way to closing date he was on the ball. Mike and his team are dedicated group of professionals that made my home buying experience a pleasure! Mike and Jessica are THE BEST real estate agents!!! If you are ever considering buying a home, they are the ones to choose to help you. Jessica was so responsive, and always so friendly and helpful. She gave us tips and advice as we walked through homes, as to what repairs to do, ideas of how to set things up, and never once pushed us or persuaded us to choose a home we didn't completely love. They have a very flexible schedule, and will do whatever it takes to make a time work for you. Because this was our first home, we had a lot of questions and wanted to really understand the process. They have written a book for home buyers, and they are extremely knowledgeable. We were able to close escrow early, and Jessica and Mike have followed up with us to make sure everything was going well, and have given us lots of references for companies that we've requested. I would recommend Mike and Jessica to every single home buyer, and we will definitely use them if when we decide to buy/sell in the future.

Mike and Jessica are the best RE Agents! My husband and I recently bought a home, 1st timers, and we got the royal service from M & J. We met Mike at an open house in South Park and were so impressed by his knowledge of the area that we decided to meet with them in their office to see how they could help us. We had a variety of areas that we were intersted in, as well as areas we were NOT! Also, we had a serious "must have" list and a pretty rigid budget. For the weeks that followed, M & J were constantly sending us links to homes and were ALWAYS available to take us to see them. Seriously, I couldn't believe how flexible they were to fit our schedule. They were great at pointing out values that we didn't see as well as flaws that may have looked ok to us, but could be some serious cost. We looked at a lot of older homes and they had a great eye for upgrades that hadn't been done (ie, we would have to pay for) and things that had (hello upgraded electrical). We wound up buying a home that was foreclosed on and owned by HUD which was kind of an ordeal. They walked us through the entire process spelling out every little detail. They hooked us up with loan agents, contractors, plumbers, the works. And, even after the sale was final, they keep in touch to make sure we are doing ok with the moving in process and getting comfortable in the neighborhood. Really, I can't say enough because they are truly the best. I HIGHLY recommend them to any buyers/sellers.

From the moment I met Mike, I knew he was the Realtor to short sale my home. I'm still in shock that Mike and his team were able to sell my condo in a week and a half and close my SHORT SALE transaction in record time (3.5 months).
