About Michael

Michael’s real estate career in the greater-Seattle area has spanned a period of more than 30 years. He started his career as a home inspector. His home inspection career lasted more than 13 years from 1990-2003. During that time, he inspected over 4,000 homes and became a certified member of ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) as well as a state-licensed, structural wood-destroying organism inspector. His home inspection background gives him a unique insight into problems that homes might have and, although Michael does not officially inspect the homes that he lists or sells, in most cases his training allows him to identify potentially major flaws before the home inspector is hired. His clients appreciate his knowledge in this area.

Michael earned his real estate license in 2003 and began helping people buy and sell homes. In 2007 he earned my managing broker’s license and in 2011 opened his own brokerage, Wyman Real Estate. Since 2003 he has listed and sold hundreds of homes. Buying and selling real estate is complicated and he views his role as more of a project manager than a salesperson. Michael tells his clients everything that pertains to their transaction, gives them expert advice, and then gives them space to make their own decisions. He talks openly and truthfully with his clients and gives them honest information so that they can make informed choices. When people buy or sell a house with him their experience is a positive one because there is consistency between what is promised and what is delivered. At the end of each transaction, Michael’s clients know that their interests were his top priority.

Managing Broker
Managing Brokers have obtained the highest level of education and real estate licensing recognized by the State of Washington. As the Managing and Designated Broker of Wyman Real Estate, it is Michael’s responsibility to manage the brokers in the office and to ensure that all real estate transactions conducted by the brokerage are done so in accordance with State and Federal laws.

An e-PRO is a REALTOR® who has successfully completed the e-PRO training program, endorsed by the National Association of REALTORS®, to become a certified Internet professional.
