MICHELLE FIORINO-RAGNI

Michelle Fiorino-Ragni is an Agent at Sunshine Life Realty, LLC’s Clermont office and specializes in Lake, Orange, Polk and Osceola Counties. Before she started her real estate agent career, the Long Island, New York native took a different path. She worked her way through college as an Administrator at Hofstra University where she received her B.S. in Mathematics. She did complete the majority of her coursework for a M.S. in Secondary Education also at Hofstra University but her personal road took a turn. In 1997 her father who owned pizza restaurants for already about 10 years here in Central Florida asked her and her wonderful husband to relocate to join the family business. Since they loved visiting Florida they jumped at the opportunity.

A little over a year later another family member who was a real estate appraiser asked Michelle to work with him. A few years later she became a State Certified Real Estate Appraiser and opened her own real estate appraisal company. She has 10 years of appraisal experience.

In her free time, when South Lake Charter opened (the school where her children were attending), she became the Accelerated Reader Coordinator. She enjoyed visiting the classrooms and seeing the excited looks on many of the students’ faces. Those joyful faces always stayed in her mind.

In 2008 her family opened and currently operates G’s NY Pizza in Clermont. She handles payroll for the business and sometimes you will see her helping at the local family business as cashier.

As the economy continued to change she began looking for a new path to travel. That path was Substitute Teaching. She was a “sub” for 5 years mainly in Middle and High Schools around Lake County. In 2011 she completed her teaching certification and taught 4th grade for 1 year and since then middle school mathematics. She has been Team lead since 2012. Her students have scored top math scores in the county for several years. She volunteered as Lead for the school’s Economic Sustainability Committee for over 5 years and helped raise over $150,000 in funding for the school.

Just as she enjoys bringing confidence, joy and fun into math for all of her students, as an educator she will assist home buyers and sellers through the home buying and selling process with ease. As a former State Certified Real Estate Appraiser, she is able to understand and explain the ever-changing market. All of the paths she took has given her the necessary skills to help you find “The One!” As an educator she loves the look on a student’s face when he/she has that “ah-ha” moment. She can help you feel that too!
