She attended the University of Georgia, earning a degree in Public Relations in 1999 before launching her career in PR and advertising in Atlanta. But Columbus called her home, and she pivoted into a decade-long career in education—teaching elementary school and later substituting while raising her children. Her background in education sharpened her ability to communicate clearly, stay organized, and guide others through big transitions—all of which translate seamlessly into her work in real estate.
In 2022, Michelle followed her passion for helping people by earning her real estate licenses in both Georgia and Alabama. Now, as a Listing Specialist with The Kim Mixon Real Estate Team, she brings a deep knowledge of the local market, a strong commitment to client success, and a personal touch that makes every transaction feel seamless and well-guided.
