About Michelle

Michelle has been helping people buy and sell homes since 2002. She spent the first part of her career at Keller Williams, where she not only helped clients buy and sell homes, she also coached other realtors, taught negotiation classes, served on the Keller Williams Leadership Council, and was the real estate columnist for The Sunday Paper weekly. She joined PalmerHouse Properties/HomeSmart in 2018, Now in partnership with boutique brokerage Roost Realty Inc.

Before going into real estate, Michelle was an accountant at Arthur Anderson and VIACOM. You’ll find having a numbers person on your side is a huge asset when it comes to understanding the market, negotiating powerful contracts, and making sense of the variables in offers.

Michelle has a deep passion for historic neighborhoods and the rich history behind them. Over the past few years, she’s been expanding her business to include historic properties and estates all over Georgia. She enjoys preserving the state's history and the difference she can make with clients who are selling homes that have been in their families for decades. Michelle is involved with the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation and holds the Historic Leadership certification.

A world traveler, the only continent Michelle hasn’t yet visited is Antarctica. She walked the Portuguese Route of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in October 2019. Along with hiking, you’ll find her exploring via motorcycle with her husband, Rob (owner of Cheers Charters Sailing in Hilton Head, SC), and squeezing every drop of joy possible out of life. Michelle and Rob live in a historic home, circa 1922, in the Ardsley Park- Chatham Crescent neighborhood of Savannah with their mountain lion-sized cats Rocky and Ding.
