Bois Blanc Island, one of Northern Michigan’s best-kept secrets, lies just southeast of Mackinac Island in the Straits. If you’re curious about buying or selling on Bois Blanc—a.k.a., “Boblo”—Michelle is your personal guide! She has lived in the Upper Peninsula for nearly 20 years and settled permanently on Bois Blanc several years ago. Michelle is always excited to introduce people to Bois Blanc and to connect with the Island through her photography, volunteerism, and love of nature. She’s worked as a mortgage loan officer, farmer, and veterinary technician, and now serves Bois Blanc as a Fire/EMS first responder, in addition to her work as a real estate agent. She’s also the proud owner of a Clydesdale mare, the only draft horse on Boblo! Michelle (formerly Michelle Satchell) and her husband Dan enjoy spending all four seasons in the Island wilderness and supporting their community in every way they can.
