Mickey Lindsay has lived in the Portland Metro Area all her life except for the four years when she studied in Eugene at the University of Oregon. She is the second generation owner of Oregon First, Realtors® & Washington First Properties. Mickey has been in and around the real estate business all her life, working for the company during summers as a student, and full time after college until she became a managing broker almost two decades ago.
For her, the best thing about real estate is that “everyone lives someplace,” so she connects with lots of different people in the course of her job. She also loves to see agents’ careers take off, and watch them grow more knowledgeable and confident.
Mickey is an avid reader and likes to travel when she can find the time, even if it’s just to the beautiful Oregon Coast. Her most memorable trip was to Paris in 1995 when her husband proposed to her at the top of the Eiffel Tower!
In addition to being the owner of Oregon First, Realtors® & Washington First Properties, Mickey is the Managing Broker of the three Westside branches of Oregon First, Realtors®. She is a member of the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors® Brokerage Risk Management Committee, and was the Chair in 2020. She's also on the Executive Committee for the Board of Directors of the Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS), and is a past chair of the RMLS Rules & Regulations Committee. Mickey sits on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Realtors®, our statewide Realtor® association, and she's a member of the Board of Directors for the Garden Home History Project, and sits on it's Executive Committee.
