Mr. Poyastro founded FORTUNE CAPITAL PARTNERS, Inc. (FCP) in April of 1998. Since inception, Mr. Poyastro has grown FCP from a condominium conversion firm into a full services, multifaceted real estate development and investment firm. FCP continues to grow its highly successful condominium sales business. Under Mr. Poyastro' guidance, it has embarked upon the development of multifamily rental communities. Also, under the FCP banner, Mr. Poyastro has started an investment division to capitalize specific commercial and residential projects.
Prior to founding FCP, Mr. Poyastro directed condominium sales in 8 projects totaling 2,500 units for Crescent Heights Investments, a pioneer in the condominium conversion industry, and a recognized national leader in that product type.
From 1985 to 1987 Mr. Poyastro was a multifamily specialist with Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services (now CB Richard Ellis). He began his career in real estate in 1984 with Weitzer Communities, a successful real estate development firm noted for its sales capabilities.
Before beginning his career in real estate, Mr. Poyastro was a professional basketball player in Israel. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Georgia State University. Currently he is active in several philanthropic organizations including serving as the real estate committee division chair of The Greater Miami Jewish Federation, advisory board member of the Aleph Institute, and the Baptist Hospital Founders Society.
