If you need a realtor, accept no substitutes: Mike Aubrey is the real deal. If you think you don’t need a realtor, Mike Aubrey will change your mind.

I was looking to buy a home in a good, upscaled, safe neighborhood for almost a year. With prices not moderating to the point that they would be affordable and rising interest rates not helping, I did not feel confident that things would really happen. Then I came across a sign while walking in Downtown Crown. I laughed at the self proclaimed “King of Crown!” But feeling like I had nothing to lose, I decided to give him a try anyway.

Well, saving money is no laughing matter. And Mike had his game plan perfectly executed when he negotiated and orchestrated an unbelievable deal I never would have dreamed possible. That put my foot in the door, so to speak. But his assistance in the entire process did not stop there. Buying a house has a bunch of different steps. He kept everyone on-track and we were able to close within a month. There may be too many things to list, but just to mention a few: (a) Progress reviews during construction, (b) Home inspection, (c) Home Orientation, (d) Pre-settlement walkthrough, and (e) Settlement.

Mike owns the “Aubrey Group” and I am sure he has plenty of customers. But throughout the process, Mike made sure I received 1st class service and it felt like I was his only customer. He was present at all the Homeowner meetings and even stood in for me for one of them because I have to keep my eyes on my day job to pay for the house! Being present just doesn’t cut it, either. He insisted that all items in the house that weren’t perfect be remedied by the builder so that they are - after all, I am paying for a brand new house, I should be getting one!

I have now moved into my beautiful, brand new, luxury home. It is a dream that Mike helped make possible. All was done within a month and completed on time prior to me having to go on travel. As I reflect, I am so very glad I used him and his team - The Aubrey Group. It’s no joke, he actually earned his stature as the “King of Crown” - at least when it comes to realty. Thank you Mike!

Hey folks!
I can’t say enough good stuff about Realtor Mike Aubrey. We met for a chat over coffee to go over the basics of what we were looking for, and he soon put us in touch with a lender who handled all our approvals lickety-split. Once we were ready to start looking, Mike sent us three listings – one of which had just come on the market that morning. It happened to check all our boxes, and then some. I was initially hesitant to just jump – figuring we should look around and get a handle on the landscape – but Mike noted that if we passed this up, we might wind up in house-hunting purgatory, forever looking and hoping for ‘the one that got away.’ So, we decided to make a bid. We thought there would be multiple bidders, as the house had no drawbacks or compromises (for us anyway) AND it was priced on the low end. Mike counseled us on having the place pre-inspected so that we could waive the building inspection, and he recommended waiving two other contingencies to help our bid stand out. He also did LOTS of homework on the comps to help us decide whether to bid over the asking, what the escalation increments should be, and what our max should be. All that work paid off and we got the place at asking. Unbelievable!
I should also mention that Mike is incredibly knowledgeable about the technical side of real estate (fair market value, financing, taxes, titling, etc.), he’s very thorough, and if he doesn’t know something he doesn’t bluster at all - he chases it up on the spot and gets an answer. He also seems to know everyone in the industry in town and is well-liked, which we think probably also helped our bid. Oh, and he’s easy-going and funny and a joy to work with.
