I’m Mike Blackburn, a Central Florida new construction sales professional with Adams Homes and a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran. I specialize in helping buyers navigate the new construction process with clarity, confidence, and realistic expectations.
Buying a new construction home is very different from purchasing a resale property. From floor plans and options to timelines, inspections, incentives, and contracts, there are many moving parts that can impact your experience and final outcome. My role is to educate buyers, clearly explain each step, and make sure there are no surprises along the way.
Before entering real estate, I spent over a decade working in IT engineering, data center management, and project management. That background shaped my detail-oriented, process-driven approach and allows me to stay organized, proactive, and solution-focused throughout the build process.
I’m also an FAA Part 107–certified commercial drone pilot, which gives me a unique perspective on site layout, community planning, and construction progress. When appropriate, I use modern technology and visuals to help buyers better understand the homes and communities they’re considering.
As a former U.S. Marine Corps Corporal, I bring discipline, accountability, and a service-first mindset to every client interaction. I’m based in Central Florida and take pride in helping buyers make informed decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and move through the new construction process smoothly from start to finish.
