About Mike

Having spent nearly 45 years of his life in South Florida, this individual hails from a family deeply entrenched in the farming, produce sales, and distribution business. Learning the value of hard work and service from an early age, he took over Cee-Bee Produce Inc., a company founded by his father and his partner, in 1995. Together with his wife, Jill, who plays a crucial role as the administrator, they continue to own and operate the business to this day.

In 2001, faced with a difficult decision, they made the move from Florida to Georgia, specifically to be closer to family in South Georgia. Settling in Lowndes County, they established roots in the community, with their children attending Valdosta State University and their in-laws residing in Worth County. Their transition to Georgia also marked the beginning of a new venture as he opened Bed’r Mattress in Valdosta, which quickly became a success.

Engaging actively in community organizations such as the Valdosta North Rotary Club, VSU-Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE), Chamber of Commerce/Moody Air Force Base Honorary Program, and Charity Baptist Church in Hahira, he found fulfillment in building relationships and serving others.

After selling Bed’r Mattress in 2016, he sought a new direction in life, guided by the principle of continuous service and meaningful connections with people. Drawing from his experience as a real estate investor, he decided to pursue a career in real estate. Joining forces with Mercer Hughes Real Estate Group, he found a dynamic team led by industry veterans Larry Mercer and Dedra and Jerry Hughes. Embracing their expertise and commitment to excellence, he became part of a team dedicated to upholding the highest standards and ethics in the profession.
