A life-long resident of Iowa City, Mike Jensen is well-informed of the Johnson County area local real estate market. Mike grew up learning the construction of homes from his grandfather and father, local contractors. A graduate of St. Ambrose University, Mike’s knowledge, and vast network of connections in the community provide a great benefit to his clients as they experience the process of buying and/or selling their home.
Mike joined Lepic-Kroeger, REALTORS® in 2001. During his time as a REALTOR®, he has earned his Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation, Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, and is a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI). Mike is also a licensed Broker Associate. In 2014, Mike became a Partner/Owner at Lepic-Kroeger, REALTORS® and is proud to continue the integrity, honesty, and reputation of a long-standing, locally owned Iowa City Real Estate Company.
Mike’s hard work and dedication to his clients throughout his career has garnered the attention of his community and the Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS®. In 2004, he was awarded Professional Newcomer of the Year for exhibiting Outstanding Professionalism in Real Estate by the Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS®. He received Gold Star Awards 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2016 for Outstanding Professionalism & Cooperation. In 2017 he was awarded Realtor of the Year by the Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS® for the second time, the first award coming in 2011. Mike was also voted Best of the Area, Realtor by the Iowa City Press Citizen readers in 2015 and “One of the Best” in the area in 2016. Most recently, he received the Locals Love Us Award for Real Estate Agent.
Mike & his wife, Fran, have three children, Bobbie (Dan Wegman), Jamie (Mike Venzon), and Paul (Megan Agne) …as well as five grandchildren; Brady, Annie, Mollie, Mack, & Joey. His children and their significant others all live and work in the Iowa City area.
