Mike is a native of Chattanooga. He received his MBA from UTC and holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from TTU. He is retired from TVA and is licensed as a professional engineer. He is currently a Director on the Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors Board of Directors and a past board member of Mustard Tree Ministries, The Canyons Homeowners Association, and a member of Burk’s United Methodist Church in Hixson. He is a past president of the UTC Alumni Board of Directors and a member of the UTAA Board of Governors. Mike and his wife, Brenda, are both brokers with over twenty-eight years of real estate experience and work together as Team Purcell.
