We just closed on our beautiful home. The Schatz team spent nine months helping us find it, all the while being incredibly helpful, compassionate, and patient. The whole team worked to help us find the perfect house, and we are so incredibly lucky to have had them with us and supporting us along a very long, very frustrating trudge through the housing market. Once we found our house, once again the whole team quickly and accurately responded to requests from our lender and title company, quickly got us a great home inspector, and was with us every step of the way until (and after) closing. At no point were any of them pushy, they never tried to talk us into a house we didn't want. In fact, they all made sure that we understood the pros and cons of each house we saw, regardless of location or price. Thank you so much Riley, Levi, Madde, and Cody! You truly are the best!

The Schatz team sold a rental property for us in 2021. The experience was excellent. The house was listed, shown, and sold quickly for a great price with minimal issues. There was always someone available with current information on the status of various parts of the process. They also coordinated well with the tenants occupying the property during the sale. Even with the complications that came with selling a 100+ year old occupied rental property, it was fairly hands off for me due to the Schatz team performance.

Fantastic family-run Real Estate company with a true care for those that they work with! They send holiday cards and keep in touch regularly. I first met the Schatz a few years back when I was just beginning to think about the buying process. They regularly checked in with me and let me know that they were there for me whenever I wanted to start the process for real. Entire Schatz Team is a pleasure to work with. We primarily worked with Riley Schatz and Jacob Froelich during our house search. They were always available with a positive attitude, and tirelessly showed us houses throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area. This is the second time we are buying a house, and our experience was different than our first time. They were never pushy and never forced us to close a deal, which can be common in this industry. We have had two great experiences with the Schatz team and I could not be more impressed with their entire group. In 2015 Mike helped us buy our first home. He was so patient and knowledgeable he took the time to help my wife and I found the ideal first home at a great deal.

Then this year Riley helped us sell this home and find a new one. He had the house sold in under 48 hours and over asking price. Thankfully Mike had done such a good job negotiating the home purchase and giving us advice along the way of home improvements that would drive the home value we made a huge profit.

If you’re unsure of where you should turn when you’re buying or selling a home, I cannot encourage you strongly enough that The Shatz Real Estate Group should be the first and only contact in your list. You won’t regret it!

When we initially purchased our home we didn’t use Shatz (our realtor then, luckily, was pretty darn good), however the sellers were selling through Shatz and I distinctly remember at that time how comfortable the sellers were with them. There was just this open and easy vibe, as if they had known each other for years. It really impressed on me.

Fast forward a few years, when it came time to relocate out of state, and we needed someone to help us sell our home, that memory of our buying closing prompted me to call the Shatz team. Best decision ever!

Riley was amazing!! Super simple to understand, super easy to talk to, full of knowledge, recommendations and advice... and that was before we were under contract! Riley guided us through everything, detailed and explained everything out and ensured we were all on the same page!

Ted helped with the purchase of my home this winter. He is the best realtor you could ask for! Super honest and straight forward. I knew very little going in and he taught me so much about the home buying process and about houses in general. After closing Ted continues to be helpful, giving me recommendations, and he even helped me fix my furnace (which saved me hundreds of dollars). Ted is the best! Ted with Schatz Real Estate Group recently assisted me and my wife in buying our first home. We both agree that Ted is without a doubt the best realtor in the Twin Cities. Ted went above and beyond time and time again. Here is why we loved working with Ted:

From the moment we sat down with Ted, we had no doubt that his first and foremost priority was ensuring we found the house that was right for us. Before we even talked about budget, wants and needs, location, etc., he educated us about the entire process. When we did start looking at houses, he took us through the entire house and pointed out not only the good things, but the potential bad things as well. We walked out of every house with a thorough understanding of what we were looking at. We now know a lot about home maintenance and how to prevent future problems thanks to Ted.

He’s there to answer questions (very promptly) and help you every step of the way. We were pretty leery about the home buying process because we constantly heard people talking about what a nightmare it was. It seemed like we were in for a pretty daunting task, but Ted made the process easy and enjoyable! In fact, after it was all said and done, we were sad that it was over - because we enjoyed hanging out with Ted!

When we found “the one” and decided to make an offer, Ted was ready for us and wrote the offer for us on a Friday evening - without warning. It ended up being a multiple bid situation and his negotiation experience, hustle and knowledge of the market helped us come out on top.

Simply put, if the need arises we would never use anybody else other than Ted!

I've worked with Schatz Real Estate as both a buyer and seller and can honesty say I think they're the best. Although I ended up renting instead of selling the time I had them list a property, it was at the absolute bottom of the market and there were 2 potential buyers for every ten listings. Living 800 miles away from the Twin Cities at the time, Mike Schatz and the team kept me updated through the whole process and listened to my needs. I never felt pressured to do anything and they were very accomodating about maintaining the listing while I tried to find a renter.

A year later, when I was in the process of moving back to the Cities, Mike went out of his way to help me find a property on a very tight schedule (on short notice, we viewed 25+ properties over the course of a couple days).
