He brought those values with him when he married a native Minnesotan and followed her home to the Minneapolis area. It was here they raised their four daughters, and he found his lifelong passion at his father-in-law’s highly respected development company. Mike cultivated an in-depth working knowledge of surveying, appraising, and developing property, then decided he wanted to know everything there was to know about real estate. While collaborating with high-end custom builders and residential developers, he saw a unique opening in the industry where he could create value and community for everyone involved, from landowners, homeowners, and local leaders to contractors and investors. Mike was licensed as a real estate agent by 1990 and has spent the last several decades building a reputation as Minnesota’s preeminent land and housing expert.
