Originally from the Southwest Side of Chicago, Mike grew up valuing the things that make for strong, supportive neighborhoods, like directness, fairness, and action. He brought those values with him when he married a native Minnesotan and followed her home to the Minneapolis area. It was here they raised their four daughters, and he found his lifelong passion at his father-in-law’s highly respected development company. Mike cultivated an in-depth working knowledge of surveying, appraising, and developing property, then decided he wanted to know everything there was to know about real estate. While collaborating with high-end custom builders and residential developers, he saw a unique opening in the industry where he could create value and community for everyone involved, from landowners, homeowners, and local leaders to contractors and investors. Mike was licensed as a real estate agent by 1990 and has spent the last several decades building a reputation as Minnesota’s preeminent land and housing expert.
