He does all the work for you and is ALWAYS available to answer questions and show you houses that fit your needs. He came highly recommended by a friend of a friend and he did not disappoint. our experience goes back with mikel a few years. he helped to sell my mother's house, among other friends? and family members? homes, most notably my wife's best friend. not only did that property sell at the first open house for a near full price offer in the middle of the recession, when the house failed to appraise out, he was able to keep the deal together in a way that was very favorable to our friend.bearing that in mind, we were quick to bring him on in our home buying process. we looked for about a year and found some homes that we really liked, but mikel, with his construction experience, pointed out some fatal flaws (i.e. very necessary, very expensive repairs) helping us avoid probable money pits.finally, mikel pointed out a house that we had seen online several times, but had not thought much of. we somewhat reluctantly agreed to go to the open house. we knew the house met most of our criteria on paper, but it didn?t present well in the photos online. however, mikel knew the house fit us. at the showing we were immediately in love with it. we submitted an offer that night and mikel guided us through some rocky negotiations, again with what we felt were very favorable terms.i'd say mikel's greatest strengths are his construction expertise, which can save you from having to waste money on a home inspection for a lemon, nevermind actually buying said lemon. his second strong suit is his negotiating skill. anyone can help you buy a house, but it's crucially important to get the house you expect, without major unforeseen issues down the road, all on your terms. i can't say enough about the comfort level we had with him leading the way and we truly feel we got the perfect house in a neighborhood perfectly suited to us for what we still feel was a great price in a neighborhood of more expensive homes. the home is in far better condition than any other house we looked at, even considerably more expensive homes. we could absolutely not be happier, and if he hadn?t lead us to it, we?d probably still be looking. johnny08 Thu May 12, 2011

My wife and I were looking for a house in Boston and a friend recommended we talk to Mr. Defrancesco. He had helped them sell a house and they said he was great. This was our first house so we were very nervous of course. Mikel was wonderful through the whole process. He helped us narrow down the area of Boston and was very patient with our concerns and questions. He is very knowledgeable and never seemed concerned when things werent moving smoothly.
