The Story Behind the Name

The first thing most people say to me upon meeting is “How did you get your name?”

I was one of those babies who came into this world with the cord wound tightly around my neck. By the time the doctor was able to free me, it had been several minutes, and I still hadn’t taken my first breath.

After trying every possible measure without success, the doctor turned to my mother and solemnly explained there was nothing more he could do. At that moment, I began to cry as air filled my starving lungs.

The doctor exclaimed, “It’s a miracle!” Mom agreed and decided on the spot that the doctor had christened me correctly. Miracle was meant to be my name.

Born into a Real Estate Family

I am the oldest of eight children in my family. (The others all have normal names.) We were all born and raised in Miami. And real estate is in our blood.

My father is a realtor. Five of us kids are realtors. My adult son Alain, recently became a realtor. And my daughter Bianca, is currently studying to become a realtor as well. One family; three generations of Florida realtors!

The Florida Lifestyle

As a lifelong resident of South Florida, I love being outdoors, going to the beach and doing water sports. I delight in Florida’s diverse cultures, and I am fluent in English and Spanish.

I split my time between Florida’s two beautiful coasts: Boca Raton/Fort Lauderdale, where my daughter and two grandchildren live (Madison-7 and Mason-4 months), and Naples, where I live with my boyfriend Tony, also a realtor (of course!). So, whether you’re looking for a home on Florida’s East Coast, Southwest Coast or somewhere in between, I’m there for you!
