After growing up in Cornelius and graduating from UNC Charlotte, she now lives with her family in central Charlotte. Misty and her husband are real estate investors so they've relocated several times locally in the past few years to build, renovate, buy and sell houses of their own. These first-hand experiences have given her rare insight into the home buying and selling process. When she's not working, Misty spends time with her family, including her husband Andrew, their two daughters, River and Palmer, and their Rhodesian Ridgeback named Kazi. They reside in Charlotte's Myers Park neighborhood and are fortunate that they have extended family nearby so they get to spend a lot of time with them. Their family enjoys exploring other areas of the city, traveling, exercising, listening to live music, and hosting gatherings for family and friends.
