Monica Crimi

Before working in real estate, Monica Crimi from John L. Scott’s Lake Tapps office worked in management at Nordstrom. Following the advice of a family member who was a very successful commercial realtor, Monica got her real estate license in 2004 with the intention of going into commercial real estate, but she started with residential. After completing her first transaction and handing her clients the key to their new house, she was hooked and realized residential real estate was her calling!

Monica strongly believes that showing who you truly are as a person will lead to success in business and life. She tries to treat everyone as if they are family, and she goes above-and-beyond to service her clients. Monica has lived on Lake Tapps for many years, and she puts this local knowledge to work when helping clients with communities surrounding the lakes.

Monica is fascinated by how social media marketing is ever-changing and evolving. She markets her properties in a variety of ways, and especially enjoys video marketing. Every day, she learns something new about marketing and loves applying her knowledge to help her clients.

Supporting women’s education is an important value of Monica’s, so she is involved with the P.E.O. Sisterhood, which provides grants and scholarship for women who need help continuing their education. She appreciates the sisterhood found in a group of women from all walks of life who get together with one goal in mind – advancing the education of other women. Additionally, Monica donates a percentage of her commission to local nonprofit organizations.

When she is not working, Monica loves to cook and travel. Some of her favorite memories are cooking her family and friends tasty meals that she learned to cook while abroad. She also enjoys camping, attending concerts, or just relaxing on a beach or lakeside.
