Monica Gentry

Hi. I am Monica S. Gentry a United Real Estate East Carolina Agent. I started my career path as a United States Air Force Airman many years ago. I spent 9 years in the USAF were I traveled to Korea for a year, did a tour at Myrtle Beach AFB, and finished at Charleston AFB. I did several temporary duty assignments over the course of my career and reached the rank of E-5. After leaving the USAF, I went on to the US Postal Service were I spent 21 years and attained my highest achievement as a Level 21 Postmaster throughout my years of service. I started in Charleston, SC and ended in New Bern, NC. In 2016 I reached my final professional goal of becoming a Real Estate Agent. I worked in customer service for all of my postal career as a clerk and in management so I am all about patience, smiling when it hurts, communicating, and most of all listening. I believe all of these qualities are important when helping clients make the biggest purchase of their lives and or selling the home they have lived in and raised their families in for many years. It's all a process. I love everything about real estate. I like that it allows me to set goals continuously, the educational opportunities, and most of all the looks and feelings of joy from clients when a transaction closes. I love this new journey that I am on which I started at age 51. I believe it's never too late to go for your dreams and be successful. I Dream big and aim high and I do not let anything or anyone get in my way. God has my back and I fill my days with prayer, faith, knowledge, and Love. I have an amazing husband who supports me emotionally and physically whom I love with all of me. My daughter is my best creation. Her beauty, energy, and fearlessness of life makes me so envious and helps me to not be afraid of this thing called "life". I love her to pieces. My future is endless and I am loving every bit of the journey and I pray that all who read my bio gains encouragement for their aspirations. Life is too short not to!
