Mychael Cohn

Mychael D. Cohn is a fourth generation Washingtonian that grew up in the real estate business. Mychael has been working in the real estate industry for over 15 years and been involved in transactions totaling in excess of $600,000,000. As a relationship driven deal junkie, Mychael founded CPG as the brokerage arm of Cohn Property Group and is the Principal Broker in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mychael commenced his real estate career with Fraser Forbes Company in 2003 where he specialized in land brokerage sales for residential and mixed use projects in the suburban and urban markets of Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC. He worked closely with building and development industry leaders and landowners in these jurisdictions. While at Fraser Forbes, Mychael had been involved in land transactions totaling in excess of $250,000,000. In 2009, Mychael joined Sandmar Properties, a mid-sized asset management company that owned 10 shopping centers and 1.5M square feet of commercial retail. While at Sandmar, Mychael assisted in expanding their portfolio of assets through new acquisitions which consisted of grocery anchored shopping centers, strip retail centers, mixed-use developments, and assisted living facilities. Mychael targeted existing income producing assets with value add potential through redevelopment as well as commencing a brokerage arm within Sandmar Properties as its Principal Broker in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
